Japan Business Trip

Centenary
To be frank i think im really cruising my luck this year.
Among all our staffs I was selected to present for the 1st GQCC in Japan. My initial intention was target to get the top kaizen with the rumors of RM1k rewards. But instead, i ended up won a trip to Japan for the 1st GQCC Convention. yeay?!?

Before heading to Nagahama for GQCC, of course some meeting in Maibara RC. Meeting up PJ leader for FY2013 project details and planning. pure business.

Yanmar Maibara RC
Maibara RC boss
Maibara RC lab
The presentation really is not my main concern. I dont really feel stress or nervous. Maybe in my head im not going to win nor impress anyone there. those groups were like saving few hundred k for their production line and stuff, and humbly ours are only simple YWK in 3S/3T.

A quick few hours meeting then move to Nagahama for GQCC. ykrc was one of the lucky 10 selected over 50 groups from Yanmar global. Grand opening i can say, top management was there, special guess were there, president was there.. Anyhow check out our sepanduk.

Post presentation

Presentation was ok. Most important is the farewell was fun and enjoying! We were too lucky to won the silver prize in group A. really glad that our small kaizen was treasured by many people.

QC department Kobayashi-san & president Yamaoka-san
The farewell

Silver with Yuri boss
Final day, all 10 group of Yanmar global staffs were rewarded a day trip to Nagoya Toyoto Museum, Nagoya Castle & football match of Nagoya Grampus vs Osaka Cerezo. and of course we cheers for Cerezo.

Yanmar Indonesia & Thai @ TOYOTA Museum, Nagoya
Yanmar Italy
Yanmar Thai Italy KK @ Nagoya Castle
Osaka Cerezo supporter from Italia and Malaysia

The whole trip ended with lots of information. There are planning from Maibara, new project research, 2013 qualitative kaizen, Yanmar global staff information exchanged, reports, etc.. A very good experience, good exposure. A once in a life time chances. Thx God for everything.
Eventually after this trip Im a kagawa-cerezo fans. haha! Good night.

Land below the wind

Sabah tanah airku, negeri kita yang tercinta.

I love my country i love my homeland.
Despite how ugly is our politician how unfair is our civilian being treated by our leader,
I still love Sabah.

Sabah have the most unite people among Malaysia.
We live in one community, no segregation of race, religion and ethnic.
We eat in the same kadai, we drink in the same tajau.
We talk in the same slang, we joke in the same frequency.
There is no place like home.

Recent Suluk attack really makes me shade my tears.
Our forever peaceful land was no longer peaceful anymore.
Intruders easily dock in our boarder, with full armor to proclaim this land.
Civilian from the east coast live in fear, the poor as usual, keep quiet and try to survive it.
Rage started to raise from the locals to the Philippinoes.
And never ending of cyber war between the 2 country.

Manipulation of irresponsible politician leader just sit and started to point fingers.
No matter who hold the government, a leader should always protect their citizen.
Citizen is the one who form a country and support the economic.
They should uphold the incident and try their best to stop these intruders before we face an economic catastrophic.
I am not a politician, I am not a war analyst, I am not a warriors,
I am just a normal civilian who wish for a peaceful homeland.

God I pray for wisdom I pray for Sabah,
We surrender ourselves in front of You.
Guide us with Your light & path as how You guide Your children in the Sinai desert .
Let us seek for Your kingdom & Your righteousness,
and lead us to your shelter and show us your mercy grace.
Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

So what if my brother is a Christian?

So what if my brother is a Christian?
Zan Azlee | Updated: February 06, 2013

KUALA LUMPUR: I really don't want to get dragged into the ‘Allah’ name game again. But sometimes (all the time, actually!), I am prone to getting irritated easily and it makes me do things I regret!

So here goes my rant.

I've written about this issue several times and even shot a documentary about it before, and I thought that was it for me and my role in nation building. But it looks like my calling has come again.

I'm not a fan of Ibrahim Ali, and I dare bet my right pinky finger and my left pinky toe that neither are many other sane, rational and normal people in Malaysia.

That's why when he announced that he wanted to burn Bibles, I just kept silent and didn't comment at all. That guy just isn't worth a single drop of my saliva.

But then, when I think of Malaysia and all my fellow countrymen, I have to do something or I wouldn't be deserving of that flat piece of plastic in my wallet called a MyKad.

Now, I recently got back from Sabah and Sarawak where I was shooting a documentary series with Karim Raslan called 'Ceritalah Malaysia' (on Astro Awani, Mondays, 9:30pm, of course!).

While in the small Sabah town of Keningau, we met a Dusun brother and sister pair who I think are absolutely fantastic! The older one is Father Francis Dakun and the younger sister is Ustazah Nooraidah Hidayah Dakun.

Take a guess which of the two is a Catholic Christian priest and which one is a Muslim teacher in a sekolah agama? Congratulations! You win no prize for the correct answer!

The Dakun family story amazes me. Half their siblings are Christians and the other half are Muslims. They all converted when they became adults. And their parents were... pagans!

Both of them stressed the fact that they all entered into their beliefs without any force or coercion from anyone and that they made their own decision. Father Francis adds that their parents were very supportive.

In fact, their father, Dakun, even built two kitchens in the house so they can always gather as a family to enjoy meals together at anytime. And that is exactly what they do till today.

The whole family gets together at Christmas, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and even during the Dusun's Hari Keamatan (Harvest Festival). They celebrate it all together without any doubts.

The important thing is, says Ustazah Hidayah, that they all respect and love each other. And they believe wholeheartedly that each of them has a right to practice their own beliefs.

The beautiful thing to me about this story is that situations like this are commonplace in Sabah and even Sarawak. Religion is religion and it has nothing to do with a person's race, nationality or family.

It would be really good if the government would actually force Semenanjung Malay Muslims to head on over to East Malaysia and live amongst the locals there, then call it a course on ‘How to be Malaysian’.

I see a lot of similarities between Father Francis and Ustazah Hidayah's family with mine. My family is multi-religious too.

We have Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Taoist and even Atheists in my family. And when it comes to open houses and food, I think the Atheist cousins get the best end of the deal (all they do is party and eat with none of the dishwashing!)!

But of course, this concept is totally alien to the standard Semenanjung Malay Muslim. It would be incomprehensible to have different faiths in the same family (for some, even in the same village).

Believe me because I have experienced that first hand! I'm a Semenanjung Malay Muslim (with a dash of Chinese) and I've been the butt of many jokes and even insults when it comes to race and religion.

I was utterly confused when I first started primary school and was told by other kids that I was going to hell because my family celebrated Chinese New Year and I get a lot of Ang pows every year.

They also told me that I would go to hell if I ate from the same plate as a Chinese. What was I to do? I was living with my mother and grandmother in the same house. They were the ones who cooked for me and they’re both Chinese!

But thank god I was quite the intelligent kid (don’t know about that now that I’m an adult!) and I learned quite fast that these people who told me that crap were idiots and that ignoring them (or laugh at them) was the best thing to do.

But that was then. These days, I feel a sense of responsibility and obligation to bring these people to the right path. Hence, I cannot ignore them (or Ibrahim Ali) and let them go through life as idiots.

And so I will continue to write my articles and books and shoot my videos and documentaries. That’s what I do best (I could be wrong. I might be worst at what I do best!). And that would be my contribution to nation building.

Responsibility

2013 is a good year.

Just that i didnt expect things turn so fast, only the 2nd day of working, i've been promoted. Thanks God of course, but during the whole week adapting, somehow in my mind im not sure if it is a good idea for now.
My mind was so messy filled with stuff, my studies is in the critical year, my responsibility in church started to burden me, and now, with this promotion i was required to work late. average time off for this week is 7pm.

to loosen this heavy duty i need to let go some of my others responsibility, and first came into my mind, my JY. since sooner or later i have to let go of my kids, God already give me a good reason and starting to assist me on letting go. living up to this age, im blessed that God has given me with a prosperity life, so basically there is nothing much i can compliant about. Soon, there will be some changes which i cant wait to announce, bare with me, and be patience.
